Near Jinja city, Uganda

Wanyange Forest (WaForest) Gardens, with Permaculture designs and Chalet house. It is located10km on the outskirt of Jinja City, over-looking lake Victoria as it transits into River Nile. Its 80 kms from the capital city Kampala on the Eastern high way to Nairobi & Mombasa Kenya. The permaculture gardens are a food forest of Fruits (Jackfruit, Avocado & Mangoes), over 1000 Medicine plants varieties integrated with bananas and livestock. Other attractions include bird life (106 types of Birds so far documented), butterflies and herbal flowers.

Busaino Herbs & Fruits (BusHFruits) is an Agroecological Farm Enterprise, located in Eastern Uganda in the Districts of Jinja Bugiri and Mayuge. Established in 1996, BusHFruits blends fruits, food, trees, and livestock with nature, culture, community, education and Agri-tourism. It is an AWARDs winning farm: BBC 100 Women, Best Farmer and CCFU/European Union Cultural Heritage. BusHFruits comprises of two branches: 1) Wanyange Forest Permaculture Gardens, located 15 minutes’ drive from Jinja City and 2) Bugiri BusHFruits Agroecological Farm comprising 1.5 hours’ drive from Jinja.
